A Woman’s Brew Podcast follows the ‘beer-ventures’ of two beer-loving women – Joanne Love & Tori Powell – on their mission to get more people drinking and talking about great craft beers. The duo look to infuse equal parts education, playfulness, and story-telling with a dash of chaos across their episodes with the aim to make the craft beer hobby more fun and approachable for all – made by women for everyone! Tori and Joanne are both UK based, but weave in their US connections with their love of travel to bring you – dear listeners – stories from across the industry and across the globe. In our latest Brave Noise episode we talk to Ruth from Elusive Brewing. We were privileged enough to be part of the brew day for their Brave Noise beer, which will raise money to support The Coven’s wellness officer program.
Ruth takes us through the process the brewery took to get to brewing the beer and talks about the impact having a code of conduct has for Elusive. We also share our experiences of beer festivals and the change we would like to see in the industry.

This week we chat to Ben from 360° Brewing Co. Did you know that they are 10 years old?! We sure didn’t! As a brewery that produces both traditional and craft styles we discuss how they choose what to brew and the sense of place that 360 puts into their beers.
Ben and Tori share a love for punny and interesting beer names, while we are both excited by the work 360 do with a local campsite to keep the camper’s thirst at bay. We might have to plan a visit ourselves! We applaud the collaboration between local businesses, especially right now.

We had the pleasure to chat to Jules from Hop Hideout about their 9th birthday beer, brewed in collaboration with Wild Card and Crafty Beer Girls. We also get to taste the beer which is a chocolate, maple and pecan flapjack inspired stout (spoiler – it’s delicious!). Jules tells us what it’s like to run an independent beer business and create your own beer festival.
